NBCI Can Provide Background Checks for Home Health Agencies...1/2013

FastFingerprints, a division of National Background Check, Inc. (NBCI), is ready and available to help with the following new legislation requiring home health agencies to expand their background check policy.
"Effective January 1, 2013, Home Health Agencies (HHAs) must conduct criminal background checks on applicants before hiring, and on all employees, at least once every five years. HHAs must initially check current employees hired prior to January 1, 2008 no later than thirty days after the anniversary of the employee's date of hire, and employees hired on or after January 1, 2008 no later than thirty days after the fifth anniversary of the date of hire." NBCI Print to Card Service Now Available... 2/2012

NBCI has added a new fingerprinting service in Ohio! We can now electronically capture your fingerprints and put them on cards using our Live scan technology. If you are living in the Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus or Toledo area and need to have fingerprint cards completed, you will now be able to use NBCI! There is no ink involved, with Live scan technology we will electronically capture your fingerprints, print them on cards, and give you the cards all in a matter of minutes!

FBI Channeling...6/2011

National Background Check, Inc. is one of the few companies in the nation to be recognized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as an approved FBI channeling agency. The FBI defines a channeler as an “expediter” rather than a user of criminal history record check results. This authorization permits National Background Check to obtain FBI fingerprint-based background checks on non-criminal applicants via electronic fingerprint submission directly to the FBI.

NBCI has the capability to accept fingerprints on cards for an individual needing fingerprinted through the FBI, that is not a federally legislated reason, which you can now request a background check through the FBI. If you seek your personal FBI records, or require the FBI records of prospective hires, simply complete the request form (DO request form) and send us your fingerprint card (FD-258) and payment to our corporate office. National Background Check (NBCI) will expedite your fingerprints directly to the FBI under the Departmental Order for FBI Channeling.

NBCI is giving back…3/2011

NBCI has made a donation to the Olentangy school district, Scioto Ridge Elementary, to help support “The Leader in Me” program. This program helps students develop the life skills they need in order to succeed in the 21st century. This program has been applied to their curriculum and has become second nature to them. The program was also built on the leadership skills found in Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The school needs help to raise $38,000 to help with the cost of training and supplies needed for the program and hopes to share their experience with other schools. NBCI is proud we were able to contribute to this wonderful organization. In today’s society, it’s great to see this type of program enrich the lives of young students early so they can grow up to be highly effective people.
